Mail call
What is Mail Call?
The tradition of sending letters and care packages to our soldiers serving our country has stood the test of time. At the National Postal Museum in Washington D.C., there is a permanent exhibit dedicated to the history of Mail Call and why it was so important for our troops to receive letters from home.
Today we remember this tradition by providing our Veterans their own Mail Call on our flight home from their "tour." Each veteran is presented with a large envelope containing these letters.

Who can submit letters for Mail Call?
Absolutely everyone! We love to see the outpouring response from our community each year when it is time to "deliver" the mail. For family members of the veterans, we specifically ask you to gather letters from anyone and everyone in the family. But it does not stop there! We encourage schools, community organizations, or individuals who want to express their thanks to our veterans to write letters, draw a picture, or to simply send a thank you card.
